More than 70% of business partnerships fail in the first 5 years, and 62% of failed merger partners cite relationship differences with other partners as the main cause of the break up. The Partnership Resource works to reverse these statistics through coaching, facilitation, and mediation.
Tanya Rapacz is the co-founder and chief executive of The Partnership Resource, which works with business partners from formation to succession to build and sustain exceptional business partnerships. TPR gives founders of new ventures the best possible footing right from the start, by facilitating agreement on the partnership’s communication, roles, and decision-making. TPR also relieves the conflict and stress that can arise in existing partnerships. The Partnership Resource typically works with business partnerships of 2-8 partners, across professions and industries.
Prior to her work with The Partnership Resource, Tanya co-founded a wealth management firm, and guided the firm through a merger and an eventual sale. She is the co-author of “Best Practices in Investment Advisory Partnerships.” Tanya served on the mediation panel at Brighton District Court, mediating small claims and civil cases.
Tanya earned a B.A. with honors from Wellesley College. She received certificates from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution and Mediation and Conflict Management. She has also been a Certified Financial Planner since 2000.
